340 What is property
(1)
In this chapter, a reference to property, in the context of loss of it or damage to it, is a reference to something that is capable of being in the ownership of a person and is capable of being physically destroyed or physically damaged.
(2)
Without limiting subsection (1), property may include any animal or plant.
