18 Reference to local government in provision about building development application
If—
(a)
a provision of this Act about a building development application refers to the local government; and
(b)
under the Planning Act, an entity other than the local government or a private certifier is the assessment manager;
the provision applies as if the reference to the local government were a reference to the entity.
