80 Alterations to unsafe existing work
(1)
This section applies to a building development approval if—
(a)
the building work is alterations to an existing building or structure; and
(b)
the building certifier decides the building or structure is unsafe or structurally unsound.
(2)
The building development approval may include a condition that all, or a stated part, of the building or structure must comply with the building assessment provisions in force—
(a)
when the approval was granted; or
(b)
at another stated time that the building certifier considers will ensure the building or structure is made safe and structurally sound.
