Coastal Protection and Management Act 1995

This section applies to the following permits—

a permit under the repealed Beach Protection Act, section 47(1A);

a permit issued for an application under the repealed Beach Protection Act, section 47(1A) and taken to be a development permit;

a development permit issued before 31 December 2004 for operational work mentioned in the Integrated Planning Act 1997, schedule 8, part 1, table 4, item 5(a) or (b)(i) or (iii).

Despite section 177, the Planning Act, section 85(1) does not apply if the work authorised by the permit may be carried out more than once.

A permit to which this section applies lapses at the end of the currency period for the permit.
