77 Stay of operation of original decision
(1)
An application under section 76 for review of a decision does not stay the decision.
(2)
However, before the decision takes effect, the chief executive may, by notice given to the interested person, stay the operation of the decision for a stated period.
(3)
The chief executive may stay the decision to secure the effectiveness of the review.
(4)
The stay may be granted on conditions the chief executive considers appropriate and has effect for the period stated by the chief executive.
(5)
The period of the stay must not extend past the time when the chief executive makes the review decision.
