155 Access approval required for particular visitors
Before visiting a corrective services facility for the first time, a visitor, other than a prescribed person, must apply for approval to access the facility (access approval).
The application must be made in the approved form to the chief executive.
In this section—prescribed person means—
an accredited visitor; or
a casual site visitor as defined under section 165; or
an emergency services officer; or
an employee of the department in which the Child Protection Act 1999 is administered; or
an officer or employee of a law enforcement agency; or
a staff member.
