288 Terminating appointment
(1)
The chief executive may terminate an official visitor’s appointment if the official visitor—
(a)
is convicted of an indictable offence; or
(b)
fails to perform the functions of an official visitor under this Act; or
(c)
while acting as an official visitor, solicits business or otherwise fails to act properly in a matter in which the official visitor’s personal interest conflicts with the public interest; or
(d)
does anything else the chief executive reasonably considers is adequate justification for terminating the appointment.
(2)
An official visitor may resign by signed notice given to the chief executive.
