309 Duration of parliamentary commissioner’s appointment
(1)
The parliamentary commissioner holds office for the term, not less than 2 years and no longer than 5 years, stated in the instrument of the parliamentary commissioner’s appointment.
(2)
The parliamentary commissioner must not hold office for more than 5 years in total.
(3)
Subsection (2) has effect despite the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 25(1)(c).
