431 Refusal to answer question for fear of reprisal
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
before the commencement, a witness at a commission hearing was required to answer a question put to the person at the hearing by the presiding officer; and
(b)
immediately before the commencement, the person had not answered the question and had not been convicted of an offence against section 190(1).
(2)
Section 190, as amended by the Serious and Organised Crime Legislation Amendment Act 2016, applies in relation to the requirement.
