54 Interference with Governor or Ministers
(1)
Any person who—
(a)
does any act with intention to interfere with the free exercise by the Governor of the duties or authority of the Governor’s office; or
(b)
does any act with intention to interfere with the free exercise by a member of the Executive Council of the duties or authority of the member’s office as a member of the Executive Council or as a Minister of State;
is guilty of a misdemeanour, and is liable to imprisonment for 3 years.
(2)
The offender may be, and it is hereby declared that the offender always was liable to be, arrested without warrant. sch 1 pt 2 ch 8 s 54 amd 1939 3 Geo 6 No. 28 s 3; 2008 No. 55 s 7
