540 Preparation to commit crimes with dangerous things
A person who makes, or knowingly has possession of, a dangerous or offensive weapon or instrument or an explosive substance or other dangerous or noxious thing—
(a)
with intent to commit a crime by using the weapon, instrument or thing; or
(b)
to enable anyone to commit a crime by using the weapon, instrument or thing;
