221 Proceeds from disposal of political donation of other property
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
a registered political party or candidate in an election receives a political donation of property other than money; and
(b)
the property is disposed of.
(2)
A person who receives an amount for the disposal of the property must ensure the amount is paid into the State campaign account of the party or candidate within 5 business days after the amount is received.
Maximum penalty—200 penalty units.
(3)
A person does not commit an offence against subsection (2) if the person has a reasonable excuse.
