38 Electoral redistribution after 2 general elections or 7.5 years
(1)
The need for an electoral redistribution arises on the later of the following days—
(a)
the day that is 1 year after the writ is returned for the second general election held after the previous redistribution becomes final;
(b)
the day that is 7.5 years after the previous redistribution becomes final.
(2)
In this section—previous redistribution means the last electoral redistribution under this Act that became final.
