385 Particular offences under this part are summary
(1)
An offence against this part, other than section 307B, is a summary offence.
(2)
Subject to section 307AA, a proceeding for a summary offence against this part must start within the later of the following periods to end—
(a)
1 year after the commission of the offence;
(b)
6 months after the offence comes to the complainant’s knowledge but within 2 years after the commission of the offence.
