393 Transitional provision—petition disputing election
(1)
If, immediately before the commencement day, there was a petition filed under section 140 that had not been finally dealt with by the Court of Disputed Returns, the petition is taken to be an application under that section.
(2)
In this section—commencement day means the day that the amendments of this Act in the Electoral and Other Acts Amendment Act 2001, schedule 1, commenced.
