398 Decisions about electoral expenditure paid under the pre-amended Act
(1)
This section applies to a claim for an amount of electoral expenditure accepted, and paid, by the electoral commission before the assent day if, after the assent day, the electoral commission becomes satisfied that—
(a)
the amount of electoral expenditure should not have been accepted; or
(b)
only a lesser amount of electoral expenditure should have been accepted.
(2)
The schedule, section 301 applies as if a reference in that section to a claim decision were a reference to a decision about the payment of the amount of electoral expenditure and the schedule, division 3 applies in relation to the decision with necessary changes.
