135 Registration
A registered responsible supplier of a type of level 3 in-scope electrical equipment may register the type as level 3 in-scope electrical equipment.
However, the registered responsible supplier is not eligible to carry out the registration if the responsible supplier is ineligible to do so under section 141(3).
Each registration must relate only to a single type of level 3 in-scope electrical equipment.
As part of the registration process, the registered responsible supplier must—
identify a certificate of conformity applicable to the type of level 3 in-scope electrical equipment; and
make the responsible supplier’s level 3 in-scope electrical equipment declaration under the equipment safety rules; and
pay the registration fee.
The declaration under the equipment safety rules must include the information mentioned in schedule 3, part 3.
A relevant person must not, in registering or purporting to register a type of level 3 in-scope electrical equipment, give false information or make a false declaration.Maximum penalty for subsection (6)—40 penalty units.
