71 Person conducting a business or undertaking to ensure electrical installation complies
A person conducting a business or undertaking that performs electrical work on an electrical installation must ensure the electrical installation, to the extent it is affected by the electrical work, complies with—
if the electrical installation is to be used for construction work—the wiring rules and AS/NZS 3012 (Electrical installations—Construction and demolition sites); or
if the electrical installation is not to be used for construction work—the wiring rules.
Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
