Electricity Act 1994

An application for the issue of a transmission authority must—

be made to the regulator in the form approved by the regulator; and

state—

the transmission grid proposed to be operated; and

if it is proposed the transmission grid be connected to another transmission grid—the transmission grid to which it is proposed to be connected; and

be accompanied by the fees prescribed under the regulations, including any fee for investigating whether the authority should be issued.

If asked in writing by the regulator, the applicant must give the further relevant information or evidence the regulator requires to decide the application.
