Production or display of electricity officer’s identity card

In force

(1)

An electricity officer may exercise a power in relation to someone else only if the electricity officer—

(a)

first produces his or her identity card for the person’s inspection; or

(b)

has the identity card displayed so it is clearly visible to the person.

(2)

However, if for any reason it is not practicable to comply with subsection (1), the electricity officer must produce the identity card for the person’s inspection at the first reasonable opportunity.
