In force

In this division—

affected land means land on which an event has caused or threatens serious or material environmental harm.

employer see section 320B(1).

occupier, of affected land, means a person who lives or works on the affected land.

primary activity see section 320A(1).

public notice means a notice given in the way prescribed under a regulation.

Example—

a radio or television broadcast

registered owner, of affected land, means—

(a)

the registered owner of the land under the Land Title Act 1994; or

(b)

the lessee of the land under the Land Act 1994.
