504 Offences relating to Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
a person is convicted of an offence against this Act; and
(b)
the commission of the offence caused, or was likely to cause, environmental harm to the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.
(2)
In sentencing the person for the offence, the court must consider the environmental harm caused, or likely to have been caused, to the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.
