836 Continuation of confidentiality of public interest evaluation
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
immediately before the commencement, former section 316PE applied to a person; and
(b)
on the commencement, new section 579D does not apply to the person.
(2)
Former section 316PE(2) to (4) continues to apply in relation to the person as if the amendment Act had not been enacted.
(3)
To remove any doubt, it is declared that a proceeding for an offence against former section 316PE(2) may, after the commencement, be started or continued under that section as if the amendment Act had not been enacted.
