Offence to contravene personal details requirement

In force

(1)

A person of whom a personal details requirement has been made must comply with the requirement unless the person has a reasonable excuse.Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.

(2)

A person may not be convicted of an offence under subsection (1) unless—

(a)

for a personal details requirement given in relation to an exhibited animal direction—the direction is given to the person and the person is found guilty of an offence against section 188 of not complying with the direction; or

(b)

otherwise—the person is found guilty of the offence in relation to which the personal details requirement was made.
