267 Continuation of exhibition of noxious fish under fisheries permit
This section applies if, immediately before the commencement of the Biosecurity Act, section 542—
a general fisheries permit for an activity involving fish that were noxious fisheries resources was in force; and
the fish were allowed to be exhibited under the permit.
The exhibition of the fish continues to be allowed under the general fisheries permit until the term of the permit ends or the permit is sooner cancelled.
Subsection (2) does not limit the Fisheries Act 1994, section 63.
Section 38 does not apply to exhibiting the fish while the exhibition of the fish is allowed under the general fisheries permit as mentioned in subsection (2).
