How chief inspector must deal with application

In force

(1)

The chief inspector must consider an application for an explosives trial approval and decide to—

(a)

issue the approval with—

(i)

the conditions stated in section 18; and

(ii)

any other conditions imposed by the chief inspector that are consistent with the conditions stated in section 18; or

(b)

refuse to issue the approval.

(2)

If the chief inspector decides to issue the explosives trial approval, the chief inspector must, as soon as practicable, give the applicant—

(a)

the approval; and

(b)

if the chief inspector decides to impose conditions on the approval under subsection (1)(a)(ii)—an information notice for the decision.

(3)

If the chief inspector decides not to issue the explosives trial approval, the chief inspector must, as soon as practicable, give the applicant an information notice for the decision.
