25 When deputy commissioner to act as commissioner
(1)
A deputy commissioner, nominated by the Minister, is to act as the commissioner if—
(a)
the commissioner is not available to perform the commissioner’s functions; or
(b)
there is a vacancy in the office of the commissioner.
(2)
This section does not limit the Acts Interpretation Act 1954, section 24B.
