72 Losses and special payments
(1)
The accountable officer of a department may—
(a)
write off losses relating to the departmental accounts of the department; and
(b)
authorise special payments to be made from the departmental accounts.
(2)
A special payment may be made to an accountable officer only with the approval of the Governor in Council.
