173 Certificate of confirmation (transfer by direction)
(1)
This section applies to a transfer of engagements by a direction under section 171.
(2)
If the transfer takes effect immediately, the direction must be accompanied by a certificate of confirmation.
(3)
If the transfer does not take effect immediately—
(a)
the direction must state the day when the registrar proposes to issue the certificate of confirmation; and
(b)
when the registrar is satisfied that the societies have complied with the direction, the registrar must issue a certificate of confirmation.
