264 Application for certificate of incorporation
(1)
On application by a continuing society, the registrar must issue to the society a certificate of incorporation stating that the society is incorporated under this Act.
(2)
The registrar must not issue a certificate of incorporation to a continuing society under subsection (1) unless the society—
(a)
surrenders to the registrar its certificate of incorporation under the previous law; or
(b)
satisfies the registrar that the certificate has been lost or destroyed.
