149A Property owner etc. is liable for charge for particular service
(1)
This section applies if—
(a)
a service is provided that involves attending to a fire or a hazardous materials emergency that occurs in or on property or endangers property; and
(b)
a charge for the service is prescribed by a regulation or fixed by the commissioner.
(2)
The owner of the property is liable for the charge.
(3)
If the property is a seagoing ship, the ship’s master is also liable for the charge.
