Fire Services Act 1990

In a proceeding under an Act, the appointment of each of the following is presumed unless a party to the proceeding gives reasonable notice that the party requires the appointment to be proved—

the commissioner;

the chief fire officer;

the deputy commissioner;

the chief officer;

a fire service officer;

an investigation officer;

a chief fire warden;

a fire warden;

a rural fire brigade member;

a field officer;

a forest officer.

The authority of each person mentioned in subsection (1) to do anything under this Act is also presumed in the proceeding unless a party to the proceeding gives reasonable notice the party requires the person’s authority to be proved.
