7AA Commissioner’s directions
(1)
The commissioner may give a direction if the commissioner considers it necessary or convenient to give the direction to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of the fire services.
(2)
A direction under subsection (1)—
(a)
may be written or oral; and
(b)
may apply to all or any of the following persons—
(i)
the chief fire officer;
(ii)
fire service officers;
(iii)
rural fire brigade members.
