30 Management of shark control program
(1)
The chief executive must establish and manage a shark control program for the coastal waters of the State the chief executive considers necessary or desirable.
(2)
The shark control program may be established and managed despite the main purpose of this Act under section 3(1).
(3)
To remove any doubt, it is declared that it is not a function of the chief executive to establish or manage the shark control program other than to the extent mentioned in subsection (1).
