General matters about fees for a licence, fishery symbol or quota authority

Current

(1)

A fee stated in schedule 6, part 1 for a licence—

(a)

is in addition to any fee payable under schedule 6, part 2 for a fishery symbol written on the licence or any quota authority related to the licence; and

(b)

is payable by the holder of the licence.

(2)

A fee stated in schedule 6, part 2 for a fishery symbol—

(a)

is an annual fee; and

(b)

is for each fishery symbol of that type written on a licence; and

(c)

if the fee includes a reference to a unit or area—is for each unit or area to which the fishery symbol relates; and

(d)

is payable by the holder of the licence.

(3)

A fee stated in schedule 6, part 2 for a quota authority—

(a)

is an annual fee; and

(b)

is for each quota authority of that type held by the holder of the authority; and

(c)

is payable by the holder of the authority.
