14 Meaning of food standards code
Subject to subsection (2), food standards code means the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code as defined in the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991 (Cwlth).
In applying the food standards code for this Act—
the code applies with the changes—
stated in schedule 2; or
prescribed under a regulation made under section 278(2)(a); andNote—
A regulation made under section 278(2)(a) expires 1 year after it is made.
standard 3.2.1, clause 4 of standard 3.2.2, standard 3.3.1 and chapter 4 of the code do not apply.
