Compliance with provisions to extent reasonably practicable

(1)

This section applies if, under a provision of this Act, a person is authorised or required to give notice to or tell someone about a matter.

(2)

The person need only comply with the provision to the extent that is reasonably practicable in the circumstances.

(3)

Without limiting subsection (2), it is not reasonably practicable for the administrator to comply with a provision relating to a forensic disability client’s allied person if, after reasonable enquiries, the administrator can not ascertain the allied person’s whereabouts.
