155 Use of reasonable force
Subsection (2) applies for the exercise of—
a practitioner’s power under section 113(2) or (3) or 151; or
the administrator’s power to detain a forensic disability client in the forensic disability service if, under this Act or the applicable forensic order, a forensic disability client is authorised or required to be detained in the forensic disability service.
The practitioner or administrator, and anyone lawfully helping the practitioner or administrator—
may exercise the power with the help, and using the minimum force, that is necessary and reasonable in the circumstances; and
is a public official for the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000.
