52 Review of client’s behaviour control medication
(1)
A senior practitioner must ensure a psychiatrist regularly reviews the client’s need for, and the appropriateness of, the behaviour control medication prescribed for the client.
(2)
The review must be carried out at least every 3 months.
(3)
Also, if requested by the director, a senior practitioner must ensure a psychiatrist carries out an immediate review of the client’s behaviour control medication as mentioned in subsection (1).
(4)
The psychiatrist must record details of the review in the client’s file.
