82 Administrator may refuse to allow a person to visit a client
The administrator may refuse to allow a person to visit a forensic disability client detained in the forensic disability service if the administrator is satisfied the proposed visit will adversely affect the client’s care and support.
Example—
The administrator may be satisfied the care and support of the client will be adversely affected if, on a previous visit by a person, the client’s behaviour deteriorated.
The administrator must give the person written notice of the decision.
The notice must state the following—
the reasons for the decision;
that the person may appeal to the tribunal against the decision within 28 days after the person receives the notice;
how the appeal is made.
