61SS Effect of transfer after sale under mortgage
(1)
Subsection (2) applies if a transfer of a plantation licence or plantation sublicence executed by a registered mortgagee after the exercise of the power of sale under a registered mortgage is registered.
(2)
Registration of the transfer vests in the transferee the mortgagor’s interest that is transferred, free from liability under the mortgage and any other mortgage registered after it and any other mortgage not registered under this Act.
