651B Directions in relation to alternative compliance accreditation

(1)

The responsible Ministers may give a direction to the Regulator requiring the Regulator to take or not to take particular action in relation to alternative compliance accreditation.

(2)

A direction may be given only if the responsible Ministers are satisfied the direction is necessary to prevent or minimise a serious public risk.
