1083 Existing permits
(1)
A permit issued under old section 695 or 696 that was in effect immediately before the commencement continues in effect under the corresponding provision of this Act.
(2)
For subsection (1), the corresponding provision of this Act is—
(a)
for a permit under old section 695—section 978; or
(b)
for a permit under old section 696—section 979.
