293A Misrepresentations—right to represent
(1)
This section applies in relation to an entity that is not an organisation.
(2)
A person or other entity must not make a false or misleading representation to another person that the person or entity has the right to represent the industrial interests of a person or a particular group of persons.
Note—
This subsection is a civil penalty provision.
(3)
For subsection (2), an entity does not have the right to represent the industrial interests of a person or a particular group of persons only because the entity’s rules state it has that right.
