406ZZD Further orders if principal contractor fails to reinstate

(1)

If a principal contractor wilfully contravenes an order to reinstate a courier service contract for an independent courier, the commission may—

(a)

further order the principal contractor to pay the independent courier—

(i)

an amount of not more than the monetary value of 50 penalty units; and

(ii)

an amount for lost remuneration; and

(b)

make further orders until the principal contractor complies with an order under section 406ZZB or this section.

(2)

This section does not affect another provision of this Act allowing proceedings to be taken against the principal contractor.
