489 Power to conduct a secret ballot
(1)
The commission may direct when, where and how a secret ballot is to be conducted.
(2)
The registrar must—
(a)
comply with the direction; and
(b)
for the conduct of the ballot—do the things provided for by the rules.
(3)
Public service officers must help the registrar, as required, to conduct the ballot.
(4)
The registrar must advertise the result of the ballot in a newspaper circulating in the locality concerned, unless the commission otherwise directs.
