675 Death of candidate
(1)
An election must be discontinued and a new election held if—
(a)
2 or more candidates are nominated for the election; and
(b)
1 of the candidates dies before the close of the ballot.
(2)
Subsection (1) applies despite anything in the rules of an organisation or branch of an organisation.
