824 Cancellation grounds
An exemption under this part may be cancelled by the registrar only—
if the holder of the exemption asks for its cancellation; or
on a ground mentioned in subsection (2).
The grounds are as follows—
for an exemption under section 802—
the organisation no longer has a counterpart federal body; or
the making of an order mentioned in section 803(1)(b) changing the federal election result about which the exemption was given;
for an exemption under section 804 from keeping an officers register—the holder has contravened section 806;
the occurrence of a contravention or an event for which the holder must, under division 1 or 2, give the registrar notice;
for an exemption under section 821—the registrar is no longer satisfied under section 821(1);
for an exemption under section 815—
the registrar is no longer satisfied under section 815; or
there has been a contravention of part 7 or division 2, subdivision 2 for an election for which the exemption was granted; or
the required number of members of the holder ask for the cancellation.
