Industrial Relations Act 2016

This section applies to each of the following events 4 years after the event happens—

the election or appointment, or purported election or appointment, to an office for an organisation;

a making or amendment, or purported making or amendment, of a rule of an organisation.

The event is taken to have been done under the organisation’s rules.

However, this section does not affect a decision by the court or another court, the commission or the registrar made about the event before the 4 years ends.

This section applies to an event happening—

before or after this section commences; or

to an association before it became an organisation.

In this section—

decision includes a decree, sentence, verdict and a similar act.
