Noncompliance with particular QPPs

An agency is not required to comply with a prescribed QPP in relation to an individual’s personal information if the information is related to or connected with personal information of the individual that has previously been published, or given for the purpose of publication, by the individual.

In this section—

prescribed QPP means QPP

6 or 10.2.

publish, for personal information, means publish the information by way of television, newspaper, radio, internet or other form of communication.
